Grassroots rugby in the heart of Nottinghamshire
Ashfield RUFC was formed in 1997 when Swans and Spartans Rugby Clubs came together to form one single club for Ashfield. We are now a thriving, well-established Rugby Club with over 500 members, with over 300 of these within our Minis/Junior teams, and all supported by teams of dedicated coaches, managers and volunteers. At Ashfield we offer rugby to anyone aged 5 years old and above, regardless of gender, background, sporting ability or rugby experience and welcome all newcomers into our Ashfield family with open arms.
Our Teams
We are proud to run several accomplished Ashfield RUFC teams out of our Larwood Park Clubhouse on Twickenham Road. Here at Ashfield we host Minis suitable for children aged 5 to 11, Juniors for ages 12 to 15 and Men's and Women's senior teams too. All of our teams are built on the love of the great game of rugby union and are open to absolutely everyone, regardless of experience.
