Mini tag rugby is a simplified and non-contact version of rugby designed for young children. It serves as an introduction to the sport, focusing on fun, participation, and developing basic rugby skills in a safe and inclusive environment.

School Year 4 - Training Day - Sunday 10am

The Under 9s age group in rugby marks the exciting transition to contact play for young players. It's their first introduction to controlled contact situations, where they learn fundamental tackling and ball-carrying skills in a safe and supportive environment. Coaches emphasize proper technique and player safety, fostering a positive learning experience that builds confidence and teamwork. The focus remains on enjoyment and skill development, setting a solid foundation for their rugby journey ahead.

Under 10s 

School Year 5 - Training Day - Sunday 10am

Our Under 10s rugby team is all about fun, learning, and developing a love for the game. Open to boys and girls, we focus on teaching the fundamentals of rugby in a safe and supportive environment. Through teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill-building, our young players gain confidence both on and off the field. Whether your child is new to rugby or looking to take their game to the next level, our coaches are dedicated to helping every player thrive and enjoy their rugby journey.

Under 11s

School Year 6 - Training Day - Tuesday 6PM - Sunday 10am

Our Under 11s rugby team is where young players begin to advance their skills and deepen their understanding of the game. At this level, players are introduced to no push contested scrums, a key aspect of rugby that helps them develop strength, technique, and teamwork. Open to both boys and girls, our program focuses on building confidence, refining skills, and fostering a love for rugby in a fun and supportive environment. Whether your child is continuing their rugby journey or just starting out, they'll gain valuable experience and enjoy every step of the way with us.

Under 12s

School Year 7 - Training Days - Tuesday 6:15PM - Sunday 10am

Our Under 12s rugby team is where young players take their skills to the next level, mastering key aspects of the game. At this stage, players are introduced to 5-man scrums and the ability to hand off, allowing them to experience more of the physical and tactical elements of rugby. Open to both boys and girls, our program focuses on developing technique, strength, and strategic thinking, all within a fun and supportive environment. Whether your child is building on previous experience or new to these advanced skills, they'll thrive and grow with us on their rugby journey.
